Man Sentenced 30 Years For Kidnapping Baltimore Woman & Toddler Son
ROCKVILLE, Md. (WJZ) --Decades in prison. The sentence is in for the man convicted of kidnapping a woman and her 20-month-old son and driving them from Baltimore to Bethesda.
Terron White, 24, was sentenced to 30 years in prison in the Montgomery County Circuit Court.
In July 2011, police say White carjacked Elyssa Samuels with her son inside the vehicle at a gas station and then drove them from Baltimore to the Capital Beltway.
Fearing for her life, Samuels jumped out of the moving car with her son in her arms. They suffered only minor injuries.
White pleaded guilty last August to two counts of kidnapping.
