Man Driving Car That Hit Woman Gets Time Served

ELKTON, Md. (AP) -- A driver who struck a woman while he was drunk has been sentenced to time served and put into a drug treatment court.

Brian Little, 30, of North East pleaded guilty Monday to driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to remain at the scene of a traffic accident involving bodily injury and fleeing-and-eluding police.

The Cecil Whig reports that Little was also put on three years supervised probation.

According to court documents, on Oct. 27, Little hit the woman in the parking lot near the Drunk Monkey in Elkton. The woman rolled onto the vehicle's hood before falling to the pavement.
