Man Stuck & Killed By Train At West Coldspring Station; Station Reopened
BALTIMORE (WJZ)--A man was struck and killed by a Metro Subway train near West Coldspring Station on Thursday afternoon.
Police say the fatal accident happened around 3:17 p.m.
Medics pronounced the unidentified male dead at the scene.
The adult male apparently entered the tracks at the West Cold Spring Metro Station and began walking westbound on the eastbound tracks when he was struck by a train traveling in the eastbound direction.
Authorities evacuated passengers from that train without incident. There were no injuries reported by anyone on the train.
The station has since reopened.
