Man Critical After Being Shot While Hunting In Fort Washington
FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (AP) -- A man is in critical condition after suffering a gunshot injury while hunting in Fort Washington.
Firefighters in Prince George's County received a call Saturday afternoon about the shooting, which occurred in a heavily wooded area of Fort Washington. Firefighters could only access the area by foot. When they reached the area they found a 60-year-old man shot once in the abdomen. He had to be carried out of the woods and was then flown to a hospital.
Officials did not release the man's name or city of residence or any more details about how the man was shot.
