Man Convicted Of Murder In 2010 Shooting
SNOW HILL, Md. (AP) -- A jury has convicted a Pocomoke man of first-degree murder in the shooting last year.
Skylor Harmon, 19, was convicted Thursday in the death in May 2010 of Reginald Handy Jr. Sentencing was delayed until a presentencing investigation can be done.
Witnesses testified that Harmon shot Handy with a .223-caliber assault rifle from 60 to 65 yards away. Just before the shooting, Handy was in an argument with Harmon's uncle.
The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that Harmon's first trial ended in a mistrial.
