Man Convicted Of Killing Security Guard Gets Longer Sentence
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The man convicted of killing a 72-year-old security guard will spend even more time behind bars.
Ron Matz has more.
According to WJZ's media partner, the Baltimore Sun, a city judge added five months and 29 days to Troy Taylor's already 35-year sentence.
Taylor, 20, was convicted in the 2010 murder of Charles Bowman during a robbery at a Chinese food carryout in Waverly.
Taylor got the added sentence after refusing to testify against the accused gunman and was found in contempt of court.
Michael Hunter, 20, is now on trial for allegedly shooting and killing Bowman.
Hunter's trial is expected to wrap up Friday or Monday.
