Man Charged With Sexual Assault On Taxi Passenger
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Police in Washington say a man has been arrested after he assaulted a woman leaving a taxi.
Police say the assault happened Saturday when a woman caught a cab to the 2600-block of Georgia Avenue NW. Police say the woman's driver had a male friend riding with him and that both the woman and man exited the cab at that location.
Police say the man pulled the woman into a nearby alley where he physically and sexually assaulted her.
Police say the woman screamed for help. Police arrived and arrested Mohammed Suleiman Roble, 35, of Alexandria, Va. He is charged with first-degree sexual assault.
