Man Charged With Attempted Murder In Stabbing
OAKLAND, Md. (AP) -- The Garrett County Sheriff's Office says a man has been charged with attempted murder in a stabbing in Oakland.
Kendall Shane Lowers, 39, is also charged with assault in the stabbing of William Sachs, 52, on Sunday.
Sachs is in fair condition at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
The Times-News of Cumberland reports that Lowers was awaiting a bond hearing. Deputies did not reveal a possible motive in the incident.
