Man Charged With Arson In 2 House Fires
GOLDEN BEACH, Md. (AP) -- The Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal says a man has been charged with setting fires in two vacant homes in Golden Beach.
Steven Lee Rovinski, 26, has been charged with arson and other offenses. He remains at the St. Mary's County Detention Center, where he had been held on unrelated charges.
Authorities say Rovinski set a fire on July 20 that heavily damaged a house on Golden Beach Road and a blaze that destroyed a home July 29 on Bay Drive. There were no injuries in either fire.
