Man Charged In Sexual Assaults In Suitland
SUITLAND, Md. (AP) -- A 19-year-old man is accused in three sexual assaults in Prince George's County.
Police say the assaults occurred Thursday in Suitland. The alleged victims include one man and two women.
Officers have arrested Curtis Lee Sargent Jr., who has no fixed address. Police say he faces charges including rape and first-degree assault.
Police say the first attack occurred early Thursday when a man seeking directions to the Suitland Metro station was forced at gunpoint into a park and sexually assaulted.
The other attacks occurred nearby about 40 minutes later, when Sargent allegedly approached two women with a gun. Sargent was later captured with help of a police dog, and police say they recovered a gun.
