Man Charged In Robbery, Hammer Attack
TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County Police have obtained a warrant charging a man with a robbery in which the 80-year-old victim was hit in the head with a hammer.
Police got the warrant Thursday charging Alveate Jerome Wallace with attempted first-degree murder and other offenses. He is being held at the Baltimore City Detention Center on unrelated charges.
Police say on Sept. 26, the 80-year-old man was hit with the hammer during a robbery at an apartment complex in Pikesville.
