Man Charged In Fatal Shooting In Cecil County
PORT DEPOSIT, Md. (AP) -- The Cecil County Sheriff's Office says a man has been charged in the shooting death of another man in Port Deposit.
Deputies say Jonathan Blair Copeland, 24, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Jeffrey Adam Myers. Copeland is being held without bail. Deputies did not know if he has a lawyer.
Police say Copeland and Myers argued over money and drugs on Monday and Copeland threatened to kill Myers. Deputies say about 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, he was found dead of gunshot wounds in a truck on his driveway.
Police arrested Copeland later in Port Deposit.
