Man Charged In Fatal Shooting In 2007 In Baltimore
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore police have charged a man with first-degree murder in the 2007 slaying of an East Baltimore resident.
Thirty-two-year-old Phillip Herrell was arrested this month at a correctional facility in Delaware and returned to Baltimore. On Thursday, he was ordered held without bail.
The Baltimore Sun reports that Herrell is charged in the shooting death of 32-year-old Melvin Jordan.
Jordan was shot in the early morning of June 9, 2007 and found in the sidewalk on North Lakewood Avenue.
Police know of no motive for the slaying.
