Man Charged In Armed Robbery On UM Campus
COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) -- University of Maryland police have charged a man they believe robbed a student last week on the College Park campus.
Police say Isaiah Graham, 21, of Riverdale, Md. has been charged with armed robbery and assault. He had been arrested in Washington, D.C. on robbery charges unrelated to the incident on campus and he is being held without bond.
A Maryland student told police that he was approached by two masked men. One pulled a knife and demanded the student's property.
Campus police say detectives are working with Metropolitan Police and George Washington University police to identify a second man involved in a robbery on Thursday near Cecil Hall on the College Park campus.
