Man Charged After His Children Are Left In Car
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- The Frederick County Sheriff's Office says a man left his two young children, including an infant, in a car while he went shopping.
Deputies say about 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, two children, a 4-year-old and a 5-month-old, were left unattended in a vehicle
parked on the lot at the Wal-Mart in Frederick. Police say the outside temperature was 24 degrees.
Anisur Rahman, 41, of Point of Rocks was arrested and charged with child abuse.
The children were released to their mother.
