Man Charged After Body Found In Burning Trunk
ESSEX, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County police are looking for a man wanted in the death of a man whose body was found in a burning work truck in Essex.
A warrant issued Wednesday charges Lennell Ellis, 32, of Rosedale with first-degree murder in the death of Daryl Augustus II, 21, of Parkville.
Police say Augustus was visiting a woman in Carney on Saturday morning when Ellis, who used to be romantically involved with the woman, arrived. Investigators believe Augustus was killed in the apartment and his body and his company work truck were taken to Essex, where the truck was found burning.
Augustus' death was ruled a homicide, caused by femoral artery laceration. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
