Man Arrested In Scuffle With Trooper
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A man scheduled to be sentenced next week for driving under the influence in a 2010 crash has been arrested after a scuffle with a state trooper.
Cory Kuczynski, 26, was charged with second-degree assault, resisting arrest and other offenses in Monday morning's incident.
According to court documents, Kuczynski pushed a trooper who had been called to his home over a complaint about fireworks. The documents say Kuczynski and the trooper fell to the ground during a struggle.
In April, Kuczynski pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in a crash on May 6, 2010 in which a Delaware woman died.
His sentencing is set for June 10.
