Man Arrested In Pipe Bomb Explosion At Home
POTOMAC, Md. (AP) -- Authorities in Maryland say they've arrested a man in connection with a pipe bomb that exploded outside a Potomac house in March.
Farzin Sadeghi was arrested Thursday morning in Marshall, Va. Montgomery County fire officials list addresses for Sadeghi in Marshall and in Gaithersburg, Md.
The explosion damaged a front window and room of a Potomac home in March. No one was home at the time.
A device that officials said had been detonated was found at the scene. Officials also found a necklace with Hebrew letters that spell "Jennifer."
Montgomery County fire officials said Sadeghi had been identified early on as a suspect but didn't elaborate.
Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham said Sadeghi was in the process of being charged. It wasn't known if he had a lawyer.
