Man Arrested In Md. Sentenced For Killing Wife At N.Y. Salon
NEW YORK (AP) -- A New York City man will spend 25 years to life in prison for killing his wife at a Manhattan hair salon where she worked.
Michael Kenny was convicted of murder in the 2011 stabbing of Denise Kenny.
Authorities said that after the attack, he stole money from the salon's register and a van from his employer in Brooklyn. He was arrested near Millersville, Md.
The prosecutor said Kenny had a prior conviction in Queens for violating his wife's order of protection.
