Man Arrested In Fatal Shooting
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Authorities have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a man outside a Dupont Circle restaurant over Thanksgiving weekend.
D.C. police say Brandon Terry, of Riverdale, Md., was picked up on an arrest warrant Monday and charged with second-degree murder while armed. Terry, 29, is accused of shooting Jhonte Coleman, 34, of Suitland outside the Heritage India restaurant on Connecticut Avenue about 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 27.
Police have said say a fight broke out at the restaurant, which had been operating as an after-hours party spot, and spilled out onto the sidewalk. Authorities say three men were stabbed and another three were shot, including Coleman.
