Man Arrested In Connection With 2 Robberies At The Same Bank
NEW WINDSOR, Md. (WJZ) --A man from Union Bridge is arrested in connection with two robberies at the New Windsor State Bank.
Detectives from the Carroll County Sheriff's Office and Baltimore City Police Department responded to the Motel 6 in the 1400-block of Bloomfield Avenue in Baltimore Tuesday evening.
Detectives spoke with Jeffrey Barry Thompson, 54, who confessed to committing the robbery at the New Windsor State Bank on Main Street in New Windsor earlier in the day.
The investigation revealed that a second suspect, identified only as "Deanna," drove him from Baltimore City to the bank to commit the robbery. Authorities say she is the female suspect from the Sept. 18 robbery of the same bank. Officials say Thompson acted as the driver in that incident.
Thompson was taken into custody and transferred to Carroll County Central Booking where he was charged with conspiracy, theft, assault, robbery and other charges.
Carroll County Sheriff's Office detectives are trying to identify "Deanna." Anyone with information is asked to call 410-386-2900.
