Man Arrested After Crashing Car Into Home
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Police in Frederick say they've arrested a man who crashed his car into a home and then attempted to leave the scene of the crash.
The Frederick News-Post reports police responded to the crash Saturday morning around 2:30 a.m. When police arrived in the 400- block of Carrollton Drive they were told the driver had fled the scene.
But police soon found the driver, Frederick resident Devante Dayton Williams, and arrested him. The 20-year-old has been charged with driving under the influence and other charges.
The owners of the home were allowed back inside after a building inspector deemed it safe. Police did not say how much damage the crash caused.
