Man And Woman Arrested For Murder Of Missing Dundalk Man; Body Found
DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ)— A man and woman have been arrested for the death of a Dundalk man reported missing since September 2011. The victim and the suspects were acquaintances.
John Joseph Leschefsky Jr., 27, and Carollyn Robin Duschl, 29, have been indicted and arrested for the death of Jeffrey Wayne Jennings Sr., 57.
On Tuesday at around 7:30 p.m., detectives discovered a body in a wooded area in the 1100-block of Bengies Road in Essex. On Thursday, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner positively identified the body found as Jennings.
On Sept. 15, 2011, Jennings was reported missing by his son who said he had spoken to his father on Sept. 9, and that no one had seen or heard from his father since that time.
Detectives from the Missing Persons Unit have been investigating the case since that time. During the investigation, detectives intercepted communications between Leschefsky and other individuals that led detectives to believe that Jennings was dead and that he had been murdered.
Leschefsky and Duschl were arrested Monday.
Both suspects are currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bail.
