Man Accused Of Raping Neighbor

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- Salisbury police have charged a man with breaking into a neighborhood home and raping a woman.

Daryl Lamont Hudgins, 46, of Salisbury is charged with rape, assault, burglary and other offenses. He is being held on $200,000 bond.

Police tell the Daily Times of Salisbury that about 2:35 a.m. Saturday, Hudgins broke into a woman's home.

Officers say the alleged victim whom Hudgins knows, yelled, but was told to be quiet. Authorities say the woman was attacked, and the suspect fled when she said her husband was on his way home.
