Man, 60, Arrested For Charging At Co-Worker With Pitchfork
LAUREL, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County police have charged a 60-year-old man with hitting a co-worker at Laurel Park Race Track and charging him with a pitchfork.
The Capital reports that officers were called to the track on Monday morning.
Police say a 27-year-old man told officers that fellow groomer, Jose Maria Colindres Salazar, punched him during an argument and charged him with a pitchfork. The man told police he fended off Salazar by hitting him with some kind of object and fled.
The man was taken to an area hospital with a laceration to the ear.
Officers took Salazar into custody and charged him with first- and second-degree assault, as well as reckless endangerment.
