Man, 26, Charged In Triple Shooting In Baltimore
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A 26-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder in a triple shooting that left one man dead in North Baltimore last month.
Police say Maurice Jerome Lonon has been identified as one of two men who entered a home on Lothian Road and began shooting on July 16.
Authorities say Quinton Winder, 35, was shot in the head. He was found sitting on a couch in a front room and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people were also shot in the head.
Court records show Lonon, who is also known as Maurice Cobb, was charged in 2009 with attempted first-degree murder and related gun crimes but was later found not guilty of all charges. He has prior convictions on burglary and drug charges.
