Lucky Ravens Fans Are Going To The Super Bowl
BALTIMORE (WJZ)— Everybody wants a ticket to the big game. One lucky group of Ravens fans has them.
Gigi Barnett reports the tickets sold out fast.
This is true love. The kind that only exists between a Ravens fan and a purple bag filled with Super Bowl goodies.
"In those bags, folks get gold, as what a lot of these Ravens fans would consider," said Brian Snyder, BMore Around Town.
Snyder owns BMore Around Town, a social events company that caters to sports fan.
His team put together a super Super Bowl package. Their non-stop flight to NOLA leaves bright and early Friday morning--Super Bowl bound.
"My dream has come true. I am so excited. I have looked forward to this for so many years. I can't even begin to tell you. I am pinching myself," a Ravens fan said.
A total of 162 lucky ticket holders started picking up their purple bags first thing Thursday morning.
"They haven't stopped calling. It was. I had to tell them as nice as possible, 'Can you guys let me put this stuff together?'" Snyder said.
For Kevin O'Connor, the Super Bowl is a family trip for him, his wife, three sons and granddaughter. He believes this was the year to go to the big game because it's in the Big Easy.
"It's so wonderful to be in New Orleans because when we win Sunday night we know exactly where to go. Bourbon Street is a 10-minute walk," O'Conner said.
Organizers say it was easy securing the game tickets for this event. The challenge was airfare and lodging. Folks will stay on a riverboat that was actually made last year in Salisbury.
