Lockdown Lifted At Md. High School; Gun Report Was False Alarm
LANHAM, Md. (AP) -- A lockdown has been lifted at a Prince George's County high school.
DuVal High School in Lanham was temporarily locked down Wednesday because of what police say was a generic report of a gun, possibly in the school.
A spokesman for the county public school system said police investigated and determined it to be a "false alarm."
Police say on their Twitter feed that no weapons were recovered and that the lockdown has been lifted.
