Local School On Lockdown After Nearby Shooting
BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ)— A local school was on lockdown after police say a man was shot on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred on the 1300 block of Washington Boulevard just after 12:30 p.m. where police found an adult male who had been shot several times.
Charles Carroll Barrister Elementary School located on that same block was not involved in the shooting, but put in a precautionary lockdown according to parents.
Police say the victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.
The cause of the shooting remains under investigation.
