Lindsay Schnell Previews The College Football Playoff
Lindsay Schnell from SI.com joins The Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to discuss college football. Lindsay Schnell joined the show today to discuss the happenings of college football, but one team stands out to her, The TCU Horned Frogs. TCU is going out and finding a way to win. "TCU is very, very good. Last season they went 4-8." TCU has mad e an offensive transformation this season after three years in the Big 12 tenure, and "they are still very good defensively."
Moving on to a big game this past weekend was the Buckeyes 49-37 win over the #8 Michigan State Spartans. The Buckeyes lost their quarterback and struggled through the first couple weeks of the season. However, backup quarterback JT Barrett for OSU stepped up this past weekend and gave a stellar performance. "What a transformation for him to be put in that starting position" stated Schnell. To win AT Michigan State is a great feat. "Ohio State University has been pretty good the last few years especially in the regular season, but I was surprised the game wasn't a little closer."
Lindsay was asked who she thought was the best team and best player in the country right now and there was no doubt for her that Marcus Ball for Arizona State University is her pick. "He doesn't have the heroes around him like other teams do. They can win a championship on his back." However, she does believe that Arizona State is underrated.
As far as the best team right now she says you have to go with Florida State Seminoles. They find ways to win. However, her feelings go back to TCU as well. "After watching TCU I believe they can compete with anyone in the country."
