WASHINGTON (WJZ) -- The Lincoln Memorial reopens after vandals splatter paint on the statue.
It was only closed for a day.
Officials expected to completely clean the statue by Saturday afternoon.
The vandalism was discovered on the pedestal and floor of the statue.
Police are now reviewing security camera footage to try and identify suspects.
