Len Stoler Car Dealership Owner And Wife Gift $3M To Sinai Hospital
BALTIMORE (WJZ)— Roslyn and Leonard Stoler have gifted $3 million to Sinai Hospital. In return, the hospital has named a portion of its main building in their honor.
The newly named Roslyn & Leonard Stoler Tower has six floors and more than 200,000 square feet of space and includes units for patients with the most critical care needs.
The Stoler Tower is home to an intensive care unit and neurocritical care unit, a cardiac diagnostic center, a neuroscience center, brain and spine programs, a neurological rehabilitation center, an intermediate care unit and a roof top helipad.
"Roslyn and Leonard Stoler's gift not only impacts Sinai's patient-centered care now, but its influence will be felt for generations to come," Neil Meltzer, president and CEO of LifeBridge Health, Sinai's corporate parent company, said in a release. "Thanks to the Stolers' visionary gift, Sinai continues its successful mission to provide advanced, high-quality health-related services."
Leonard Stoler began with one car dealership in Baltimore in 1968 and now has more than a dozen franchises in Maryland and New York.
He is also a member of the LifeBridge Health Board of Directors and serves on the LifeBridge Health Budget and Finance Committee.
