Laurel Offers $3,000 Reward For Information On Hit-And-Run
LAUREL, Md. (WJZ)-- The Laurel City Administrator's Office is now offering a $3,000 reward for information on a hit-and-run incident.
It happened on Feb. 29 when a white truck merged onto eastbound on MD-198 from Route 1, veered onto the sidewalk and ran over a pedestrian.
The truck never stopped but the video was captured by a dash cam on a Metro bus.
Police say the truck is a Ford F-250 pick-up with a super cab and an extended bed, model year between 2005 to 2007. They add that it could be a work truck with writing on the door.
Police have not released the identity of the pedestrian, who was taken to Shock Trauma with severe head injuries, a snapped femur and a crushed pelvis. There is no word on the current condition of the victim.
