Kolbe's Stanley Cup Final Recap 6-25-2013
Steve Kolbe is joined by Kevin Thomas & Andy Snakovsky to bring you the latest on the NHL Playoffs.
How other way should the NHL season have ended then the way it did last night. The Chicago Blackhawks trailed 2-1 in the final two minutes and looked to be headed towards a Game 7. In a 17 second span Bryan Bickell and Dave Bolland scored and a 2-1 deficit turned into a 3-2 win and a Stanley Cup for Chicago. Patrick Kane did not score in the game but was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy.
Boston at one point had a 2-1 lead in the series but then lost 3 in a row to lose the Stanley Cup Final. Tuukka Rask had another gutsy performance despite being on the losing end yet again, stopping 28 of Chicago's 31 shots.
