Kolbe's Recap 06-06-13
In an instant classic the Boston Bruins tightened their grip on the Eastern Conference Finals with a 2-1 double OT win against the Penguins and they now lead the series 3 games to none. Tuukka Rask was amazing stopping 53 of Pittsburgh's 54 shots. Gregory Campbell of the Bruins suffered a broken leg after taking a puck to the lower leg while blocking a shot, Patrice Bergeron netted the game winner his second game winning goal of the postseason. Game 4 and Boston's chance to head to the Stanley Cup Finals takes place on Friday night.
On Tap for Tonight:
The LA Kings look to even their series with the Blackhawks tonight in Game 4. Jonathan Quick was back to his regular self after allowing just 1 goal in their Game 3 victory. Both teams will be missing key parts of their lineups. Chicago will be without defensemen Duncan Keith due to a suspension and LA will be without Mike Richards for a third straight game.
