Kendrick Lamar Goes All 'Power Of Positive Thinking' After GRAMMY Snub
By Shannon Carlin
Kendrick Lamar might have gone home empty handed at Sunday night's GRAMMYs, but he's not letting it getting him down. Instead he's embracing the art of positive thinking.
In an interview with XXL yesterday, a very Zen Kendrick says he isn't upset about losing and doesn't hold a grudge against Macklemore, who admitted that he thought Kendrick was robbed. Macklemore even went as far as writing an apology text to K-Dot for beating him out for Best Hip-Hop album, in hopes to make amends.
“It’s well deserved; he did what he did, man,” Kendrick said of Macklemore's four wins. “He went out there and hustled and grinded. Everything happens for a reason; the universe comes back around, that’s how it go.”
