Ken Weinman: Ravens Took Care Of Business
It wasn't a masterpiece. Let's face it, with the Baltimore Ravens it rarely is, but the Ravens beat the Bengals yesterday 24-16 at Paul Brown stadium to clinch the 2nd seed in the AFC. More importantly, the Ravens get a bye week and a home game.
The Ravens fed Ray Rice the rock to the tune of 191 yards and 2 long TD runs. The key play of the game was Terrell Suggs strip of Jermaine Gresham. The Bengals were down 17-13 at that point but were driving. Momentum was on their side and it looked to me like they were driving for the lead. Big players make big plays and Suggs and Rice stepped up.
Now the Ravens can rest up and watch next weekend.
