Ken Weinman: Great Effort!!
Going in to last night's game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens, I was worried as to what kind of effort I'd see from the purple and black. Would the Ravens show up or would we see a stinker like in Jacksonville or Seattle? OR possibly a half stinker like we saw at home vs the Jets when the offense looked terrible. Instead what we got was, in my opinion, the best team effort from the Ravens since the game week one vs the Pittsburgh Steelers. Granted, you would like to score more points, but lets give some credit to the 49er defense. Patrick Willis and company were as good as advertised. The Ravens defense was amazing. Nine sacks. Three from Terrell Suggs, two from Haloti Ngata. Without Ray Lewis in the middle they were still beasts. The Ravens showed last night that right now they are the class of the AFC.
