Kelly Clarkson Backs Lip-Synching Mom Who Embarrassed Son At Terps Game
COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — Kelly Clarkson is sending some love to the mom who was captured lip-syncing on a fan cam while her son dove for cover in his hoodie.
The video of Mandy Remmell's performance of Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" at Tuesday's University of Maryland basketball game, and her 10-year-old son's reaction, has captured more than 700,000 views online.
"I was like, 'I really don't like this,'" said Blake Mcelhattan, Remmell's son.

Clarkson, who is a coach on NBC's "The Voice, tweeted , "This is my kind of mama."
"I just couldn't believe that she put it out there and I was like 'Wow,' and I am glad she can relate to it, she's a mom too and a lot of moms can relate to it, so it was fabulous she retweeted it," Remmell said.
This was Blake and his mom's first Maryland Men's Basketball game together, and both are suprised the video is getting so much attention.
"I'm really shocked because I never thought it was going to go viral and they posted it," Blake said.
Remmell's son Blake also is warming up to the attention.

The Halethorpe family looks forward to attending more games, and Remmell said she is proud of her performance, and would do it again.
"I saw it played back and realized he is grinning from ear to ear with the hoodie over his head and that's how I knew he was having a good time and that's really what we were there to do," Remmell said.
A video that's gone viral for the right reasons.
"If you know you are having fun with your family, at the end of the day that's really what matters," Remmell said.
While Blake may not appreciate his mom's dance moves.
"I was like please stop and she always does it," Blake said.
Friends, family and strangers are praising Remmell for being a cool mom.
