Karl Rove To Address Maryland Republican Party
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Karl Rove, the former adviser to President George W. Bush, will be the featured speaker at the Maryland Republican Party's Red, White and Blue Dinner in Baltimore.
The party announced Wednesday that Rove will speak at the dinner Saturday evening.
Rove served as Bush's chief political strategist and went on to become deputy chief of staff and senior adviser in the White House.
Party Chairman Alex Mooney says Rove was instrumental in turning Texas from a Democratic state into a Republican state. He says that's what they aim to do in Maryland, too.
