Kanye West Video Premiere Canceled in Baltimore
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore officials have canceled outdoor premieres of a new Kanye West video because organizers didn't seek permits from the city.
Police say the events had been scheduled for 10 p.m. at three locations: the Bromo-Seltzer Arts Tower, the Walters Art Museum and the Baltimore Museum of Art.
West has been projecting the video for his song "New Slaves" onto walls in public spaces in numerous cities.
Baltimore police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi says the events were canceled because they had the potential to attract large crowds and organizers had not sought permits.
