BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett is contributing $7,500 to aid in flood relief in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and plans to volunteer with the United Way on Thursday before the Ravens play their final preseason game in New Orleans.
The flooding in Baton Rouge left 13 dead and over 60,000 homes damaged or destroyed. The Red Cross announced that the floods were the nation's worst natural disaster since Hurricane Sandy four years ago.

Forsett is also donating $2,500 worth of body wipes through his company ShowerPill to the cause.
This isn't the first time Forsett has been there to answer the call of those in need. With the support of about 20 NFL players, Forsett sent $100,000 worth of body wipes and water to those in Flint, Michigan earlier this year.
Forsett is reaching out a helping hand yet again because, "I know that this type of disaster could really happen to any of us," Forsett said. "I hope I'm able to help bring more awareness, because they still need support."
