Jury Gets Case Of Md. Man Charged In Woman's Death
TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- A Baltimore County jury is continuing to deliberate in the case of a man charged with killing his girlfriend and dumping her body near a highway in Virginia.
Lawyers presented closing arguments Friday in the murder trial of Frederick A. Christian. Prosecutors say Christian, 31, killed his girlfriend after their relationship soured, but a defense lawyer urged jurors to be skeptical of other witnesses' testimony.
Christian, a used car salesman, is accused in the death of Jerryell Myesha Foster, who disappeared in November 2009 from the Cockeysville apartment she shared with Christian and their young daughter.
Prosecutors say Christian tried to use bleach and powder to clean up Foster's blood.
An autopsy showed she had been shot twice.
