Joe started by talking about what to expect from the Panthers 3 games into the season saying "this is a team that a lot of people including myself thought had taken a step back from the 12 win team of last season." Joe talked about how the Panthers wanted to find a young top end receiver and they got that with Kelvin Benjamin out of Florida State. As for the Panthers defense Joe said "despite all the changes in the offseason you thought the defense was what they could hang their hat on.' As Joe said that is not the case this year.
