Jones Claims Giants Fan Threw Banana At Him During Orioles' 10-2 Win
BALTIMORE (WJZ/CBS) --After Sunday night's win over the San Francisco Giants, the Orioles are on a hot streak. But outfielder Adam Jones is crying foul.

Using social media is a common practice among athletes. Now, Orioles All-Star Adam Jones is online saying a fan threw a banana at him during Sunday's game.
It was a three-run homer Sunday afternoon in San Francisco. Orioles All-Star Adam Jones is having an incredible season.
Until this: After the O's 10-2 win over the Giants, Jones went on Twitter to address a disrespectful fan.
"I want to thank whatever slapd*** threw that banana towards my direction in CF in the last inning," Jones Tweeted. "Way to show ur class u jack***."
Jones, who has nearly 130,000 Twitter followers, threatened to get off of social media altogether due to the responses he received to the alleged racist incident.
"I love how some ppl are defending the actions by someone today. Shows how u really are also. All good wit me. I just #StayHungry," Jones said.
A representative from the Giants says the team received no reports of an incident but is following up Monday, reviewing the stadium's security cameras.
"As a Giants fan, if I were to see that person, I would tell them a piece of my mind," said Carrie Guilfoyle.
"Throwing the banana is poor sportsmanship, and I hope whoever threw it was thrown out of the stadium," said Kevin Wright, of Anne Arundel County.
Unfortunately, they weren't. There's no video of the incident.
The team issued this statement:
"The Giants have a zero-tolerance policy against this type of behavior, which results in immediate ejection from the ballpark."
But officials at a AT&T Park haven't made an arrest.
In response to the incidents, Orioles fans also took to social media.
Shaine Downes says "Classless. Who takes a banana to a baseball game anyway?"
Charlie McCabe says it's "Disgusting!"
And Carl Ginneman Jr says, "Adam should not have even acknowledged it. This is what that person wanted. Putting it on Twitter and the Internet, I think that makes it go a little too far though."
Jones hit a three-run home run in the top of the ninth and was 2-for-4 with four RBIs in the game.
The Orioles are 4.5 games behind the Boston Red Sox for first place in the AL East.
The O's start a three-game series with the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday.
