The Aaron Hernandez homicide investigation continued throughout the weekend when multiple evidence bags were removed from Hernandez's home Saturday during another visit. Today police are in scuba gear armed with metal detectors searching a body of water near the home of the Patriots tight end. Massachusetts State Troopers are in charge of the investigation and are taking an extremely thorough approach.
Game six of the NHL Stanley Cup is Monday night with the Chicago Blackhawks leading the Boston Bruins 3-2 in the series. Jon Wallach expressed concern with Bruin's forward, Patrice Bergeron. Bergeron did not participate in today's morning skate with the team. It has not been said whether or not he will play tonight in game six but it does raise some concerns for Bruins fans. Wallach had high praise for Bergeron, "He was one of the most valuable forwards in the league. Last year he won the Selke trophy which is given to the NHL's best defensive forward in the league and was a finalist this year...Bergeron is one of the best face off men in the National Hockey League...he helps you in about five or six different areas. If he can't play tonight it's really gonna be tough for the Bruins to win this game."
The Celtic's have officially entered the rebuilding phrase with Doc Rivers heading west to coach the LA Clippers. Wallach is reporting that Danny Ange first approached Doc Rivers about possibly moving to somewhere else so he did not have to be apart of this rebuilding process. Rivers had already served three seasons in a similar situation where Celtics lost eighteen straight games at one point. It was clear that Rivers was not interested in going through that once again.
Rajon Rondo and Jeff Green will be the new centerpieces to the Celtics as the nig three looks to be breaking up. It has been reported that Kevin Garnett will be finding his way out of Boston and possibly heading to LA with Doc Rivers if the NBA allows the trade.
