Joe Giglio "Orioles Will Be In It Until The End"
Joe Giglio with WIP Philidelphia joined the Scott Garceau Show to give his opinions about teams around the league.
Joe talked about how strong the AL East is as a division and thinks that Toronto is the favorite. "If you look at the top of their order with Donaldson batting second and Tulowitzki first they look like an All Star team in a regular season game."
The Yankees have been in first place in the AL East for most of the season. Joe credits this to their resiliency, "Every time you feel like maybe they will cool off they find a way to win games."
Scott later asked Joe what his opinion of the Orioles is as an outsider, "when they're hot they're very dangerous. I've been impressed the last three or four starts with Kevin Gausman. If they have Gausman and Tillman really rolling along with Chen that would give them three starters at the front of the rotation they can really feel good about. I think they'll be in it all the way to the end. I fully expect to see them in the wild card game come the end of the season."
"I wouldn't be surprised if all three (teams) made the playoffs between the Yankees, Orioles and Blue Jays.
