Jim Colony of 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh joins Scott and Jeremy to discuss Thursday Night Football Steelers vs Ravens matchup on CBS.

The Ravens take on the Steelers Thursday night, and they'll do so trying to avoid going 0-2 to start the season. Two divisional losses to open the 2014 NFL campaign would be a devastating hole, and they'll have to go through a balanced Pittsburgh offense to do so. "They like to run the ball and have done so pretty well so far," said Colony.

As for the passing game, Colony mentioned that Roethlisberger was mediocre on Sunday.
"He was OK. I'll put it that way, but nobody was good on defense," said Colony. "Jarvis jones had a sack, Worlids had a sack, but when it was time to step up and make a play nobody could do it."
Not only did Pittsburgh's pass rushers look rusty in the second half, but their corners looked slower as well, with the exception of their third cornerback. "William Gay played well—their nickel back. Everyone else didn't get it done. If you don't have three starting corners, than you're not going to be able to compete," said Colony.

Although stopping the pass was a huge concern for Pittsburgh on Sunday, stopping the run is something they've lacked in recent years. "Jamal Lewis might have had one good game against the Steelers in his career, because that's what the Steelers did. But now that it's a passing league, they couldn't stop the run on Sunday. They're just too easy to block [defensively]," said Colony. "Those holes were huge, and there was no one there to fill them," Colony added.

Offensively, however, there was some good production from some young Steelers.
"Marcus Wheaton is really good," said Colony. "Ryan Clark made a statement last year on our station by saying that Wheaton was better than Mike Wallace at everything but speed." That was apparent on Sunday, as was the reason why they chose Le'Veon Bell in the draft two seasons ago.
"Le'Veon Bell ran for 100 yards and I believe he had 88 yards receiving. Bell is a runner and a pass catcher, so that's dangerous," said Colony.

Although Pittsburgh does look to have those dangerous weapons offensively, Colony doesn't think it will be enough to defeat their biggest rivals on Thursday night. "I don't think the Steelers are going to win this game. If they do I think they're going to score a lot of points, but I think the Ravens win it 30-27 or something close to that."
