Jeremy Conn: World Series Game 6
I sat down to blog about one of the greatest baseball nights I had ever seen or been a part of about a month ago. The Orioles had knocked the Red Sox out of the playoffs at the same time the Rays were making a huge comeback to get into the postseason.
Last night was the most amazing baseball game I have ever seen. You had a hometown guy, in David Freese, be the hero twice including a clutch triple with 2 outs and down to his last strike. Also he had the walk off homer to win it with a full count. There were unbelievable plays made on both sides, defensively and offensively.
It looked like Texas had it wrapped up 2 different times. You had a clutch bunt, that was an awful bunt, but it worked. There was an emotional roller coaster on both sides throughout the game. Words can't describe how awesome that game was.
