Jeremy Conn: The Worm Has Turned
I'm typing this before the Orioles have finished their third game in the series at Fenway Park, or as I like to call it lately Camden North.
I feel like things are changing for the Orioles against the big teams. No longer do we hope to win just one game against the Red Sox or Yankees. It's not acceptable to go 4-14 against these teams any longer. There isn't a mystique when it comes to playing in Fenway or Yankee stadium. No longer do we have a Hammer and Nail Rivalry and we shall not get pushed around by Big Brother because their pockets are bigger.
I'm not saying the Orioles are going to the World Series. Hell, I'm not even saying they are even going to the playoffs. I just believe this team is playing with confidence and they play with a little bit of passion, instead of just going though the motions.
Chin up Baltimore, we're in first place.
